Presidential Address:
Wow
Seniors, I cannot believe that we have less than 100 days until we
graduate! A couple more months
and we’ll be out of here forever, but don’t pack up for beach week
just yet. The SCA, PTSA, and
Senior Class Officers still have many awesome events prepared especially
for our Seniors to help make these last couple months the best months of
school you’ve ever had. What
are those events you say? First
off, we have the Northside Students vs. Faculty basketball game which is
tentatively set for April 28th. The
event will host two games: NHS seniors vs. NHS Faculty and NHS Faculty vs.
NMS Faculty. I hope that the
Seniors take victory in this game, so we can earn bragging rights over our
teachers for the rest of the year. This
event at the end of April is supposed to be more of a “kick-off” for
all the events we have planned in May.
Speaking of the events for May, we have planned a plethora of
events, trips, and activities for our last full month of high school.
These events include a trip to the theme park Busch Gardens, a
“Battle of the Bands” in which five bands fight (musically of course)
for prizes and fans, the traditional “Senior Day” where we party while
all the underclassmen are still in school, and ending with a graduation
celebration, an event which may very well be our last party together as a
class.
I
am excited to see Seniors get excited about the events we have to offer
and hope all will participate!
